This is perhaps a stupid idea, but I think I'll join a virtual airline. I have no idea what it will be like, but I'll give it a try.
Do you have any to recomend?
I want it to pretty big so I can fly different types of aircrafts but most big ones (777, A330/340, 747).

Most VAs you have to fly small aircraft for a long time before you get into the heavies (like in a real airline).
There are exceptions of course.
I fly for TradeWind Caribbean (http://www.tradewind.org), we don't work like that. Fly any plane anywhere as long as you can get it back home again (so dare land a 747 at Saba but don't expect us to come with a ship to get it back to Curacao ).
Currently no large Airbusses in the fleet, but the 747-400 is available as is a DC10. MD-11 will be available in the near future.
The first ten hours has to be flown in the Fokker F50, then you have to fly either the F50, Dash 8-Q400 or Boeing 737-600 for another 20hrs and so on, to get to the big bird (Large Aircraft: MD90, B763, A343) you have to fly atleast 60hrs in the smaller birds.
Before you can fly at all you have to perform a checkride in the F50 to show that you can fly the bird, it's not really a big deal but worth mentioning
