I'm about to buy a 1:144 CO 772 in a few days and was wondering if anyone here knew the name of the gold color that CO uses on its aircraft bellies.

Does Testors or any other paint company have an exact name for this color?

Thanks.

You don't need to nor would you want to paint the gold stripe on CO's a/c. If you have a set of decals for it, it should have decals for the stripes on the sheet anyhow.
I do however think you meant the grey color for the lower half of the fuselage. For that use Testors Canadian Voodoo Grey(FS16515). Its an almost exact match for Boeing Grey which is what the wings and horizontal stabilizers on Boeing aircraft are painted. You will need an airbrush to apply it though because testors only makes it in bottle form. Your paint job will come out much better though.

Not that I'm trying to doubt you, but I've been looking at several CO 772 photos on here and the bellies and engines appear to be painted in a very light and mild gold color.

Is Testors Canadian Voodoo Grey (FS16515) available at www.testors.com? I couldn't find it there.

Below gold cheatline is Boeing Gray, with a bare metal stripe along the bottom of the fuselage, about the width of front undercarriage doors.
