I've had this problem for a while and it's getting harder to ignore it, I'm trying to improve my descent and landing technique but it's really difficult to fly a good approach when I can't reduce rpm's sufficiently to help slow me down-particularly when flaring.

Is there a way I can change the cfg files to give proper control of the aircraft? At the moment I can't reduce rpm's below 50,000 on many of my third party aircraft-but not all of them though.

you can't buy time but you can sell your soul and the closest thing to heaven is to rock'n'roll

You have a problem then, because on all of my 3rd party a/c it is possible to flare. Are you sure you don't have the autopilot on for your speed? If not, then I dunno...

50,000 rpm? What are you flying?

Cheers,
