Yeaphhh, I felt in love with a Tu154 from Balkan that I downloaded from flightsim.com  Smile/happy/getting dizzy What a nice
aircraft, 1st of all I like to say that I'm crazy about Russian planes so I downloaded let's say the whole
serie of Tu's 154 and 134 and they are realy amazing! All the details they have are incredible and the
Panels and sound hmmmmmmmm I love them! !!

My 1st flight was from Moskow to Kiev and Sochi on a nice sunny day. After looking around in the cockpit
(everything is written in Russian) and trying to understand all the instruments because altimeter is not in
feet but in meters!!! and the same for the speed gauge who is in km/h and not in Kts!!! Anyway, after starting the
engines and getting my taxi clearence I taxied to the active runway and when pushing the trottles to takeoff thrust
I realized that the engine and cockpit sounds where the best that I ever heard in Fs2002!!! After takeoff when
retracting the gears you can hear the pilot saying something in Russian that the gear is retracted and secured
(my guess) Looking from outside and seeing the smokie engines of this wonderful bird during takeoff is one
off the most exiting moments that I ever experienced in FS and let beat my heart 10x harder  Smile/happy/getting dizzy The climb of
the Tu until cruising altitude was ok and the aircraft is very stable. Trying to land this bird at Kiev was even easier
than expected!

To resume the whole story, it was a very exiting flight with an exellent and very fine detailed ac! If you want
to experience it go to Flightsim.com and search for the Balkan Airlines Tu 154 B2 and download the whole
package (panel and sound files included) and you will not be disappointed!

Did you have any experience with one of this russian ac's? Are there any other admirers here?

I would also say thank you to the developers for their good job!

Nice to see a Russian aircraft enthusiast  Big thumbs up

I downloaded the Aeroflot and Cubana TU-154s but haven't had the chance to test them fully yet.

I've also tried the GMAX IL-86 and it's really a great bird, you can really feel how underpowered it is. If you haven't tried it out yet I really recommend it.

Hi Crank,

So as I see I'm not alone  Smile/happy/getting dizzy Yeaphhh, I downloaded the Il 86 some time ago but found out that this bird is
very hard to fly or I could better say to land!!! So for the time beiing I decided to let fly this
wonderful aircraft as AI and it works fine cause of the GMAX format! Pulkovo and Aeroflot's livery are very
nice to see flying trough the Russian Airspace!!!

I love russian planes too,esp the GMAX- Il-86 which makes my downloaded UUEE - senery (flightsim.com) feel even more realistic!

Yeah I have both the Tu-154 and Il-86 and they are amazing. Especially the 154, i love the shape of that plane. I have them both setup as AI and it adds so much to the game when you can go Russian airports and see them. Great planes!!

Where's the Il-18 from?? Is it GMAX?

Gerry, I'm happy that there are other fans too  Smile/happy/getting dizzy I like to fly over Russian territories and seeing
Russian planes in the air!!! I've downloaded yesterday the IL-18 but not yet installed!!!
What is your favourit airport in Russia or any suggestion for a difficult approach?

Btw, I downloaded also a Radar gauge from flightsim.com yesterday and you can find
it under new files and it is realy worth to have it!!! A few month ago I installed AIMAP but
it was conflicting the most of the time with Fs2k2 so I decided to delete it again but this
new Radar gauge is a real must to have and the best thing is it is freeware. It shows
you every AI traffic flying around flightlevel and speed included! Any comments welcome!
