Thrust Reversers In FS2002

My thrust reversers don't work very well in FS2002. All of my settings seem to be correct and my joystick is properly calibrated. When I hold F2 down, it seems to fight going into reverse. When it does work, the thrusters do not stay engaged for more than a few seconds.

Anyone else experience this problem and know of any solutions? Thanks for your help.

ur joystick throttle is still not calibrated propperly.
if the throttle is jittering at all itll reset the thrust reversers. so u need to pay carefull attention to the throttle.

Cosync - That's exactly what's happening. The throttle jitters slightly when I'm idle. It doesn't really affect performance, but it prevents the reverse thrust from engaging. I have re-calibrated the joystick several times and this problem hasn't been fixed. I know the joystick is fine. Are you aware of any tricks I can apply while calibrating? I'm at a loss.

Crank - I have researched that program and I'm anxious to get it working. It seems there are several versions available for download. Which version do you recommend - or can you give me a link?

Thanks for all of your help - again!

i can suggest taking the joystick apart and cleaning the contacts on the variable resistors. if u dont knwo how to do that get someone who knows electronics to do it. a short term fix is just to find a throttle setting that doesnt jitter. then push and hold F2. and u should be fine.
