And if anyone starts whining about why the download doesn't work.... It has been uploaded to AVSIM.com, but they still need to validate the link. Once it is available for download, it will be linked through the site given above..
However, it was later sold to China Eastern Airlines and re-registered B-2363. it was also converted to a -214 with the addition of winglets and probably some other things too.

GOT, the Airbus we release do have winglets, reason being was that Airbus offered the -100 (without centre fuel tank) with winglets and had a winglet-fitting programme for those that do not have the winglets.
F-WWDC was refitted with winglets. Which is what we based that release on.

Ok, I get it. But was F-WWDC fitted with winglets before being converted to a -214 and sold to China Easterna Airlines? And what are the main differences between -100 and -200, except for winglets?
Thx in advance

Can somebody please type step by step instructions on how to download the
Project Airbus A320 planes into FS2002.
I am trying to get the BMI plane, I've done what the Read me Airbus A320-200.doc said to do (don't think I did it right) the plane didnt show up in the game. Then I tried to get the plane in the game a different way, but it still didn't work.

Ok....What am I doing wrong????
I took the BMI aircraft folder and I tried to extract it to my FS2002 aircraft folder but that didn't work. Then I tried copying the aircraft folder to my FS2002 aircraft folder but that didn't work either. So then I tried taking the main Project Airbus zipped folder and extracting it to both the FS2002 folder and the FS2002 aircraft folder but neither worked!!
Can some PLEASE tell me what I'm doing wrong here?? I'm getting frustrated here trying to get this plane downloaded!

you should only put the folder which contains the model, panel etc. to your FS2002 aircraft folder, the effect files to your FS2002 effects folder and the gauges to your FS2002 gauges folder.

oh ok Crank thanks, I did not know that.
One more question, does your plane show working thrust reversers? It says the plane is supposed to have animated thrust reversers, but my plane doesn't have that.

This plane is absolutely spectacular! The FBW is quite accurate (i.e. to make a turn you just make an input and return the joystick to center and the plane keeps the bank angle) Just put in a nice Airbus soundpack and prepare to be amazed!

25 Olympic A-340: One of the coolest features are the visible wake vortices at low speeds. Very nice touch.
26 United_Fan: very nice, but my Air Canada plane doesn't have any stobes or beacon lites-just taxi & landing.
27 Crank: Olympic A340, haven't you downloaded the sound package? It's 22 MB and so accurate
28 Skystar: I can't download the sound package - it says no file found (just tried again). It'd be great if they could do the Airbus FBW around the pitch axis - t
29 Crank: Yeah, the sound package was taken offline
30 Westjet_737: I can send people the sound package, just post your e-mail address and I'll send it too you ASAP.
31 Westjet_737: Oh, if you dont want to post your e-mail, just drop me a line @ chrismjohnson@shaw.ca.
32 Vivek1979: Vivek1979@aol.com ...and what panel are you using for the a/c? Thanks in advance for your help.
33 Cba: Project Airbus's forum claims that they have tons of liveries done, but why only 4 liveries right now?
34 Dragon-wings: Are they still working LTU a320 or did they take that file offline? cause when I click on the download link, it takes me to avsim.com like usual but o
35 Crank: The LTU A320 has not been put online yet, you're probably clicking the link for the sounds
36 Dragon-wings: Oh ok......I thought the link a the very bottom of the aircraft page was for the LTU, I guess I was wrong and it is for the sounds.
