3rd Party Software? Er Message In FS2K Need Help

Sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes, after I download aircraft or stuff like that and load it in Select Aircraft, I get some kind of a message about 3rd party software...

Does anyone else get this error message? What in God's name does it mean, and how can I fix it? It won't let me fly the plane that it comes up on when I select it.

Just ignore it, the aircraft will still show up when you fly it.

I tried clicking on a Northwest Airbus jet and the message came up but I click okay or whatever and it didn't load the plane?

So now i am back to square one...Thanks for trying to help and it is not only this Northworst jet that the message comes up...It comes up on many different ones.

Open to suggestions

Yea the plane wont show up in the preview box thing. It will probably be a cessna but in the game it will be the correct plane.

OK Deltadude I think I have the solution. you are probably using a panel that requires Fssound.dll, which you probably already have in your modules folder.

Try adding these lines to your FS2002.cfg (found in the main FS2002 folder):

[OldModules]
FSSound.dll=1

Tell me if it works.

In the FS2002 folder in the notepad file names FS2002?

In your FS2002 main folder, there's a file named FS2002.cfg, you open it with notepad and add the lines I stated above.

No this didn't help... I added the lines at the bottom of the cfg file but the error still comes up.

It says something about the 3rd party software cant be loaded so it will be disabled.

Then it states the file name...Which is...Like Program Files/Microsoft Games/FS2002/Aircraft/_______

______=the name of the file about the plane.

Any more suggestions welcome.
