I have been building plastic models (the real kind that you actually have a part in making ) for about two years now. I have never really been that happy w/ paintbrush results. I am trying to step up the quality of my models from very poor to somewhat OK. I am looking for an airbrush and air source for plastic models. I don't wan't it to break the bank, so please, no combo over $250. If any of you have had good luck w/ a certain airbrush, air-source, or both, please let me know. Thanks a lot!

I guess there aren't many of us plastic kit builders here! I personally haven't ever used airbrushes (I use spray cans) but a few brands comes to mind are Badger and Pache (spelling?). I am sure you can get a midrange airbrush with $250. Type "airbrush" into a search engine and you should find some info on various types and brands. Also, under yahoogroups.com, you will find an airlinermodeller group and you might want to ask the people in that group. Good luck!
