What are the differences, if any, in Gemini's "chrome" and "real metal" model planes? Is it just what they are made of? They seem to look the same in the pictures. Which would you buy?

The chrome finish is very shiny (and quite delicate,) and the chrome finish looks more dull (but more realistic.)

I usually buy chrome. It looks better.

What Ba777-236 meant to say is the 'real metal' finish is not as shiny... Not as illustrious as the chrome finish. 'Real metal' is suppose to be more 'life like'. However, the chrome finish is more attractive and sometimes commands a higher re-sale value.

Would you like to buy a whole bunch of both? I have plenty of them, and some of them are getting hard to find.

I'll make you a real good deal.

Thanks for the correction there AWspicious. That is exactly what I meant to say.:o

Matt, what models do you have? Are they 400 scale? Email me a list.

Well, I bought an AA 777-200 which says its in "Real-Metal" finish, but I can tell you it is one shiny motherf***er!!! Even the "Real Metal" looks like chrome to me, and not very realish. But I found that by rubbing finger prints all over it, it gets a dull realistic look Big grin Big grin

Typing up that list is going to be a pain the rump. Rather than do that, you think you can tell me which ones you are looking for? If I have them, I'll let you know. It would be just my luck to go through the effort of typing up that list, only to have someone say "I don't want any of those", or they only pick on or two.

What did you guys buy and where to display your fleet if you have them on display. I am looking for something to put my fleet on.
