Strange FS98 Problem With Animated Aircrafts

I use FS98 and have installed all the patches.

Some of the animated aircraft work perfectly fine on the machine which has Windows-98, but the same aircraft doesn’t display in FS98 under Win2K. It does appear in the Aircraft Menu, but selecting the aircraft causes the moving display to freeze, and it returns an error:”Could not display Visual Model”.

Some animated aircraft do work perfectly.

What is the problem?

Aha,

My FS2000 have the same problems with planes rated as "FS98 and FS2000 use" only. Win2K and XP (which I am currently on) doesn't like the plane's FS98 model (.mdl) file.

Go to flightsim.com and download the "Model Repair" tool: mdlrp201.zip or mail me at

airbus_340500@hotmail.com

if you want it.

Since then, my RJ-100 is able to be shown and flown  Big thumbs up
