Weather - FS2000 V. FS2002

Does anyone else think that the weather was better in FS2000 than it is in FS2002? I re-downloaded 2000 to have a look and the graphics seem a lot better in 2000.

I like the weather in FS2k2 better. But, speaking of related items, I much prefer the approach lighting in FS2000.
