Anyone here is into constructing flying/static aircraft models?
I have been trying to build flying models of my own design for some time now. I do not want to use readymade kits, and would also like to avoid using balsa wood and cement as they are not very easy to find around here.
While I build decent wings, using plastic tubes for skeleton, cardboard for the spars and thin foil for the covering, i am having trouble with the fuselage.Plywood is difficult to work with considering the small size and it usually ends up being too heavy.
I am trying papier mache, but it is too flimsy.
Any suggestions?
