New DL727 For FS!

I just found that there's a new 727 for FS2002. It's based on Kevin Trinkle's,it's Delta new colors,N528DA. It looks fabulous,flies great,too. The only problem is that it won't slow down,even with flaps 30. I can't get it to go 120 kts on approach. I even shut down the #2 engine ,but to no avail. Probably needs a new config.
You can find it at avsim.com on the hot files for yesterday. Could more repaints be far behind?

120kts is too slow, try 140 and it should be ok.

Whatever you do, dont shutdown an engine, if anything itll make it harder for you!!

I flew it earlier, i agree with you it flys great. But typical approach speed for me was 135 and it was as smooth as any other landing i eva had.

I tried landing it 3 times and it wouldn't slow down,even at level flight it was above the speed I dialed in.
Hoping for a NW one soon!

Did you try stalling it? Stall it and that will slow it down. But DO NOT CRASH IT!!!

avsim.com - go to yesterday's hot files - both DL & UA are there. I used the panel from Charles Fox's A^A 727 & the 737-200 sounds for FS2000. I'm still having trouble slowing it down.........

Try and use some spoilers during landing, that should help a bit.

There is now an A^A and LH old-colors on there. Hopefully a NW and some freighters will be coming soon! Big grin
