I just finished flight 151 from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Chicago, Illinois. The flight was very nice, but it had a sad ending for another United aircraft, which I'll get to later. I haven't done one of these FS reports in about a year, so I'm happy to do another. The flight was on a Boeing 737-500 which left the gate at 6:00 AM.
Just finishing up the check, everything appears to be OK!
Everything is fine, we are ready to go!
Taxi to Runway 8R, there's no traffic here at 6:00AM, so we get immediate clearance to takeoff when we get to the runway.

Rotate, and airborne, United 151 is in the air!
This 737-500 by FFX has the power, so let's utilize it with a fast rate of climb! We are handed from Grand Rapids Tower to Grand Rapids Approach.
Here's the 737-500 gracefully flying in the air above Grand Rapids.
Our first turn which is a right turn to 260. Passing over the highway that leads to downtown Grand Rapids.
The pilot does a great job on this turn. We're doing fine, and we are on our way to KORD.
One last glimpse of KGRR, what a nice little airport. It needs some more traffic!
Passing some threatening clouds, according to the local forecasts we should expect a bumpy approach to ORD. Seatbelt signs go off, and electronics are now permitted. We are now connected to Chicago Center.
Here we are over Lake Michigan, passengers receive a cereal bar. Hell, they are surprised they received something on a 120 nm flight!!
No need to post pics of the descent, it was just a bunch of clouds obstructing the ground. Here we are correcting on final. Look at the idiot UA 757 that swerves in ahead of me! He slows down and I pass him, but bad luck awaits this 757! We are tuned to O'Hare Tower.
Final approach at KORD for runway 32L, we are cleared to land, making us number one for landing.
Had to quickly skip ahead to show something. Here's the 757 that swerved in violently. I landed before him, he comes in low, and is told to go around. He tries to go around, but his angle of attack is too great, making his speed drop, and his aircraft as well. A few seconds later, he fell to the ground just after the runway ended.
Anyway, we were back on final approach at KORD 32L. We're almost there!
Touchdown! So it wasn't centerline, but it'll do for now.. We are handed off to O'Hare Ground for instructions to our designated gate.
We're slowing down still, spoilers deployed, as well as reverse thrust. We'll pull off 32L and let the 80 United aircraft behind me all land then all go around.
I see four aircraft here. Only mine belongs at this terminal, 2 American and the Air Jamaica A321 belong somewhere else. Ok, the joke was funny, now lower the damn gates so the passengers can deplane.
That's the end of the flight MON!
I hope you enjoyed the flight. I landed at 5:40AM, which converts to 6:40AM GRR time, making the flight a total of 40 minutes long. Not bad, passengers are happy, and the airport fire crew is off cleaning up that mess the rude 757 pilot created!

Thanks! Took me the whole runway to slow down with all that fuel. Most likely is too heavy in real life. I don't really bother with the fuel that much, just as long as it's enough to get me there. I should really calculate it so I can figure out how much should really be in there. Yes, AI go around a lot, I see some that call miss approaches. I've seen a few AI crashes, a funny one was once a Continental 737 landed at OAK after me, went off runway 9 and into the bay where there was a splash, and the plane never came back up! It was weird, it was going fine on touchdown, then it swerved off! I had pics of it once in the forum, maybe I can find it...

and yeah my AI traffic are always going around - partly because the traffic lands, misses the turn off and turns around to go back to it - so the airplane on final then has to go around. Drives me nuts 'cause it happens to me!
Never seen one crash YET though.

Thanks! It's hilarious to see them crash. There was a 777 behind me and a 757 in front. I landed first because the 757 was slowing down, then the 757 was on short final and was told to go around, the angle of attack was intense. The 777 was fine, he was told to go around and it went up fine, but the 757 stalled and crashed.

Thanks Ash for the kind comments! They really are nice 737s! UPSfueler, it's Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002. I get the addons for free like everyone else at avsim.com and other various FS2002 addon sites. It's an incredible sim that's so much fun, if you don't get it, then you better be dead or in jail! (Simpsons)

Ash, in order to use active camera, for the cabin views you must be in VIRTUAL PILOT view, and to go outside the aircraft you have to have "external view" selected from the Active Cam Pro pulldown bar. You must also be in VIRTUAL PILOT view as well. Hope that helps!
