Spotting At Newark

Hi ,has anyone been to Newark since they completed the extension of the runways? I was there last year and from the longterm parking lot G you had a great view of the action. It looked to me like you would be much closer to the planes when they finished the runways. Any information would be appreciated.

P.S Anyone know if you can purchase a model of Jetblue plane yet
