I'm usually either in the FFX 737 or I'm flying around in the IDFG 757. When I fly around VFR it's default Cessna 172.

767's or A330's and also the MD-80. And to fly around citys I prefer Heli's Big grin..... (It took me A good month to be able to land a heli on the World Trade Center with lots of wind)

Steve1103, welcome to the world of freeware add ons. Go to www.avsim.com and take a look at their file library. They have virtually any aircraft you desire, pay special attention to designs by..........

Project open sky (posky)
IFDG
Meljet
FFX
FFG
CSI
Simubuild

There are plenty more but I have named just a few.

Have a look at some of the models avaliable, I assume you have just the default aircraft right? Some of these have flexing wings and all sorts.

Take a look and enjoy.

I like flying challenging airplanes because the posky 747s, A330s, Meljets 777, and all the other basic airliners are just sooooo easy, boring and unrealistic to fly. It takes you about 1 min to get all of the engines started on the posky 747. You dont even have to start the electricity system!!!

My favorite airplane ever is the B747-200 "Ready for Pushback". It takes a lot of time to learn all the systems but it is probably the most realistic FS aircraft that I have ever flown! You never get board of flying it because you have to follow checklists to be able to fly it.

My fav these days is the Gulfstream IV (version 3) that I got on Avsim.com. I always make great landings with this plane. Most of the bizjets I've tried in the past are lousy, this one is great.

I love flying my business jet fleet

Eaglesoft's Beechjet 400A
Eaglesoft's Premier 1
Rick Sasala's Gulfstream 4 (version 4)
Yannick Lavigne's Falcon 50
FFG's Learjet 35
Nick Botamer's ERJ-145 Legacy
Peter Brun's Israel IAI-1124A Westwind 2

Others I like to fly are........FFX's 737 line of planes and FFX's MD-80 plane, Project Airbus A320's, Nathan Tenney's B717's, and POSKY's CRJ's and 767's.

Either the 737 or the A320 because I like to do short, holiday type routes so I don't get to use the 747 or 777 very often.

To Fly Around cities i use Baron 58. For Short Hauls and Island Hopping i use the King Air 350. For Short Hauls i use Fokker 100 from Project Fokker. It is amazing. Then i like 777-737-747. And for some nice short routes like MIA-Bimi the Cessna. Getting an 717 soon.

I just bought the world Airliners pack with the PSS 744 and the 777. Sensational - a working FMC, the ability to import plans from FS2K's Flight planner, a fully functional over head panel on the 777, a good EICAS and wonderful handling. Sorry realistic handling - you can't turn the corner at 30 kts in this baby. Beautiful - only drawback is that the thrust reversers don't show but that's only a small gripe.
