I'm not quite sure what tension lies between you two, but Jwenting does have a very vaild point. Most airlines are becoming very strict on copywrite/trademark issues. If you don't have a signed release, it would be a good idea to get one (you being the airline, not you personally). If not, it is a very real possibility that you will be forced to abort the airline or face legal action.

I am also A member of VUSA, and Brett I think you outdid yourself by going that low. Virtual USA (not US Airways) is based upon US Airways and doesn't use the Logo or name of US Airways. An announcement will be made shortly that Virtual USA will be officially open!

I was just warning you that the VA could get into trouble if it doesn't have official permission from the real airline.
Don't see why you take that as a personal attack...
Many VAs have been shut down by lawyers, some of their staff have even been sued for damages based on abuse of trademarks and misrepresentation of a corporate identity (which have been granted I think).

I've been around long enough, and have seen my share of VA's shut down to know what happens when you dont get permission. USAir330---Wow, I gave the wrong name of the VA, big deal. It's all still based on the same VA. I think people know what I'm talking about when I say Virtual US Airways. Just trying to get new pilots for the VA. -Brett

I understand your just trying to get more pilots, be patient the offcial announcement will be made shortly. Also just call it Virtual USA, it will bring less attention from someone that can act against the VA.

The VA doesn't look too good. The VA that every person should check out is Jetstar International Airlines. They have a selection of good hubs and a wide selection of planes. The fleet is second to none in the VA world. The staff is friendly. And you can easily quit if you don't like it. The website is

TradeWind Caribbean (http://www.tradewind.org) have our first FS2004 compatible aircraft online for a while now.
737-300, -400 and -800 are now fully compatible.
We're testing older models and replacing those that need replacing as suitable alternatives become available.
NOTAM from the fleet manager:
(1) FS98 and FS2000 support will be decreased (starting with FS98 support) over time as diskspace is needed for new aircraft.
(2) suggest you get those older models you want for your collection while they are still available.
(3) you can always ask other members who have them of course
(4) we're running at the limits of our allowed traffic for the website (17GB a month our of 20 on average), so bear with us if the hangar is down for a few days at the end of the month.

I'm sorry, but I have to say it- Brett80211, you need to relax a bit. Jwenting said nothing off topic throughout this entire thread, there is no need for that personal attack. As for the others, if you post an advert, expect competition to do the same. Welcome to life!

Apollo, all due respect, if our V4.4 777-200 isnt MelJet, what the heck is it? We only keep the POSky version available because the MelJet one is rather large download at 2.28MB. For Fs2004 the MelJet version will be the ONLY version.
As for the 747-400, having repeatedly tested MelJet vs POSky, i preffer the POSky flight dynamics and dont find that the MelJet has anything more detailed.
The 146 is in the Logistics fleet.
