Good for you. You have the right to ignore the FS2004 posts. Stop whining.

It's obsolete as of five days ago. I loved 2002 as well, but I wouldn't go back to it for anything. As for the posts about 2004, you might want to just get used to it, because we ain't stoppin'.

I'd also know people who are prefering FS98... Everyone his own thing! Don't start to fight guys... I'm sure the mass of FS04 posts will decrease in a few weeks when we all get used to the sim....

Unitl that - slow down!

I agree with Portcolumbus. If you don't like the FS2004 posts, don't open it. Very simple. Just because you don't like it, and you whine, it won't make us stop.

I think that FS2004 is a great product. But FS2002 is far from being obsolete. There are many Aircraft that were made for 02 that will never be useful in 04, because of it's lack of full support for FSDS1.

The C-182RG from 2002 will not work right. (If you transfer it)

Any aircraft made for FS2000 and earlyer.

Most (if not all) of HJG's 707s and early DC-8s.

FreewareFlightGroups's Early DC-10s/KC-10, Lear 35, and some the 737s

All of Project Opensky's early 747's and 777s

Almost all of the CFS1 aircraft conversions, and a large portion of CFS2.

The only B-52 ever made for FS is now dead.

And last but not least. The Zenith Zodiax that I put many hours into, and countless hours flying. (I wouln't be able to fly her untill my real one is finished sometime in early "05)

I'm sure there are many aircraft (and sceanrys) that will never see FS2004, So once again I say that 2002 is FAR from being obsolete.

Maybe for you and your purposes, but I'm never going back. The new weather alone is so vastly superior, let alone the new ATC and GPS. If you want to be a retro-grouch, go right ahead. But I fly 2004 now. And I'm still going to talk about it.

Actually I have an even better discussion subject.

I have a copy of Flight Simulator for my ATARI 1040ST. Circa 1983.

This was before Microsoft bought out the company that was making it.

You do start to notice an improvement in technology between that and say FS2002.

I'm sensing jealousy..............

If you want it that bad, go get a job, make some money and go buy it.

FS2004 is very reasonably priced, much more reasonably priced than how much FS2000 Professional and FS2002 Professional were. It's the same price as the Standard Editions yet has all the features of the Professional plus MORE.

Why start a new topic about this matter? Do you think we will stop posting because you don't like it?
