OK, this is for the Geeks..the true believers. NO abusive replies or 'get a life' comments allowed!
I have an old OLD game called AirBucs which is an airline game where you start your own airline and build up from humble beginnings in Miami. It's really old but still cool fun to play. Other simulation games with airlines in them include transport tycoon which is a GREAT game with other transport modalities such as rail and road, but allows you, at a later stage of the game to build airlines and a network of airports.
Does anyone know of any others? (NOT flight simulator)

take a look at the Aviation Hobby forum. Aside from that, airline simulation 5.0 (from Australia) seems to be the best I've played.

I've heard that a game called "airport" is a pretty good one, you start up a small airport from nothing and try to develop it to a international superhub  Smile

I would recommend Airline Simulation. Sometimes. Other than the fact its full of little bugs and whenever they fix some they cause different ones, its a great game eh!

Actually Airline 5, whic Canadian North is referring to, is relatively bug-free. There are occasional minor bugs, but these are fixed regularly and thewre is no other software out there that can match it. Air Bucks (which I used to have a copy of) sucked in comparison. I also sold my copy of Airport and Airport 2 - they were too boring for words - unless you liked staring at an airport building once it was "done." Now if it had been able to link into FS or Airline 5, wow....  Love

Wow that has potential to blow ailine 5 out of the water. Can't wait for it to come out. Hopefully it will actually be as good as it says it will.

Thank you... and believe me, I can't wait either.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy I have a lot of work in front of me yet.

"How much will it cost?"

That will be set by the publisher, but likely along the lines of a solid market title... $40-50 US.

By the way, please redirect any long discussion of details over to our message board. I don't want to step on toes here.
