I'm getting that throughout my whole computer. I get it on Train Simulator too. On my computer it works fine, but usually jams if you leave it for a while and then try to change the view. It's a nightmare because I just turn off my computer using the off button (only way) then when i try to start it up again, when it gets to the disk checker it just jams. Before, i could just go into "Safe mode" and then restart it and it wouldn't jam at the disk checker. Now it still does
It may be a problem with the game, but mine only started doing it when my sister started playing "The Sims" (with all the add ons - Livin it up, Hot Date, On Holiday, House Party, Unleashed, Superstar etc etc) and its been doing it ever since. It's a real pain.
I don't really know a solution to the problem. My only suggestion is that you either reboot the computer or get somebody to have a look at it. But then again if it does it at the same position every time, I'd check the disk. I couldn't get FS2000 to work ages ago, then i looked at the disk and it looked like a cat had thrown a wobbly with it

First suggestion is a full maintenance - go to 'Accessories', then 'System Tools', then do Disk Cleanup, Scandisk, and Defragment Disk. But you probably both know about those.
Couple of things you may not know about, though; get 'Adaware6' and 'Spybot' (both free, come up on any search) and they will clean off the cookies and spyware that spammers and marketing firms sneak on to your computer. They'll probably find dozens of things that you're better off without.
The other thing is a 'Registry Cleaner' - some of the spyware nowadays actually hacks into your registry and slows the computer down. The one I use is 'Registry First Aid', which costs 30 bucks; but I believe that there are free ones around too, see what a search turns up.

I agree with NAV20, I was having PC Problems and I found the cause to be spyware on my PC. I would recommend you download the programs that have already been suggested, and see if it clears up your problems.
