Hello, all. I was wondering if the was a fix for FS9 where the plane will bounce and the tires will smoke while taxiing and when the plane isn't moving at the gate in the beginning of the flight it too bounces.
Also,is there a fix for the surging throttles on FFX 733's ? They surge up & down on approach?

I has a bouncing prob the other day

I was in my monach 757 taxing at Charles de Gaul, was a t a remote parking, so took ages to taxi to the runway, i was just turning onto the last taxi way, it starts to jump a bit, like rough terrain, i think nothing of it, reduce power a bit (was only goin 20mph) and started a slight turn, i has just gone back to cockpit view, when it all went downhill, and my front gear collapsed.

WHY

You are not alone. There is a massive thread about it in the AVSIM forums. but no fixes yet.

Do you guys only have this problem with add-on scenery only or with all (standard) airports??

I've had this problem with fs2002 in the past. The solution came from reading the manuals of the add-on scenery: below the standard lines in the scenery.cfg you had to add a line called "flatten", which aligns the scenery with the ground.

Just a suggestion since I don't know about FS2004 or if it is an add-on problem only...

Kind regards,

Jeroen

I know it bounces pretty good @ KDTW with default scenery.

I think there is a new tool out at http://www.avsim.com where you can change the height of your airport. It's called something like airport elevation. Maybe this would stop some planes from bouncing?

I have this problem, but mine are only with turboprop or prop aircraft. They bounce all over the place and either crash or just stay there upside down or whatever.

hey me too!!!

at first this didn't happen to me when i had windows ME. But then a had to reformat this sh*t and installed XP. Thats when the bouncing started.

It only happens with the default md-82 and the dash 8. 3rd party AI won't do this to me. The dash 8 really puts up a show cause it starts bouncing and then starts flying loops!!!  Laugh out loud

Me too, it started after a while.

But all of my turboprop or prop aircraft bounce up and down, even if they are from a 3rd party. But then again, its just the props.
