Hi all,

What is the best website in the U.S. where I can buy miniature metal airplane models? I'm interested in starting a collection.

http://www.jetcollector.com has good prices and a pretty good selection ususally. I also like their website, very easy to find what you're looking for and good pics, too.

Hi "CaboVerde" - I'm not sure about the wider collection of models you want in particular but have a look at :-

http://www.adamjets.com/Home2/home3.html

and below (my usual supplier for 1/400th scale diecast airplanes):-

http://www.airplane-world.addr.com/ .

Both suppliers are pretty helpful with any enquiries.

You might also be interested in the following web site :-

http://www.jet-tracker.com/index.htm .

I've just literally downloaded a demo copy of this software which allows you to "track" your model collection in a comprehensive way - (or so I'm told by their web site).

Happy collecting.

hey, I use the website of a commercial aviation store near me, it's really good: http://www.starjets400.com

if for some reason the link doesn't work, just search google or another search engine for starjets 400, and you should be able to get it.

hope it helps!! !

Another online shop with, by far, the best range of 1/200, 1/400, 1/500, and other models is "Airplane Superstore"...

Cheers,
