I found this offer in my mailbox today and I'm curious if anyone else has it already.
It looks pretty impressive. If it's all that they say it is... Well, I guess I'm going to have to buy it
Anyone have any experience with this particular one?
I have an Alitalia add-on already that includes an MD11, along with the 763, MD80, 744 and 773, but if the MD11 in this new program add-on is better (like it's advertised) it seems it'll be worth it. Almost $30.00 US..

It looks nice indeed, but how important are looks??
The ifdg MD-11 model looks very nice too, and as you are probably, I'm looking for a good MD-11 panel too. By looking at the description, screenshots and previous files from this manufacturer, the panel is hardly worth mentioning. Ok, it looks nice, but the real systems are most of all completely absent. How would you fly a jetliner at some basic level of realism without even an FMC?
I don't buy aircraft add-ons for the exterior but just for the panel, because freeware aircraft are good enough for me. If you are like me, you would not spend 30 dollars on a panel which just got the looks, but not the touch so to speak. After all, it's a simulator, to simulate real flying, not something fancy to look at.
I don't have the package, so I'm not 100% sure of the realism of the panel, but you get my point I think. If you are also interested in a more complex panel, make sure to get some more info from the manufacturer. And if you buy it, please share with us how you like it.

@KLM777
If you look into the ifdg forum, there is a link towards a panel. It's not photorealistic, but it's O.K. I think the link was posted here a few weeks ago, too.

When looking at the screenshots of the aircraft closely, you can see a number of faults. The nose is wrong, and looks like Mike Stone's, the textures are horrible and the engines are just too big.
The Panel is nothing more than a composition of default gauges that are re-arranged to look like a MD-11 panel.
The only thing that looks good is the Virtual Cockpit, but still it is not worth it. I rather wait for iFDG to finish their VC then pay $30US for trash like that. IMO

Not only is the nose wrong, the plane itself is a tick too long.
All in all I don't think that this package is worth $30.

OK Guys.. I'll stand down and wait before I spend my $30. I'll use my Alitalia add-on to get my MD11 fix for the time being. Thanks for the replys..
