A Couple Of FS Questions...

Ok, I have a couple of questions about FS 2004. I hope someone knows the answers:

First of all, I'm wondering if when I'm in instant replay mode there's any way to turn off the little red message in the bottom corner of the screen that says "Replay: 123 - ESC to stop". I'd like to take some screenshots in the replay rather than during the actual flight but I don't like that message on the screen.

Also, I know that in order to get wing vortex effects the smoke system must be turned on, but do the vortices only form under certain weather conditions, or all the time?

I may think of some other questions but that's all for now...

Thanks!

Most people do take pics during replay rather than ruining an approach by workign on pics. I know i've seen a post about removing the red title on fs2004.com, and you can't remove that. I would just reccomend you crop the pic there.

The vortices only occur under certain conditions, just like in real life. You can even d/l better effects packs on like avsim.com and others.

Oh, and another thing that I've been meaning to ask:

Is there any way to get the air traffic control window to hide itself while ATC isn't talking to me and pop up when they send a transmission? Just so it doesn't get in the way at other times...

Thanks,

-Q

I assign the ATC window control to the joystick thumb button. This is closer to the real thing (press to talk)

Craig.
