I would like to know of some good shops or places you can buy 1/200 airplane models in Chicago and St. Louis. I may go to Chicago, and I want to buy some more. Plus, my town is St. Louis, and there are hardly any stores that sell 1/200 models. Elal106, do you know?

Have you ever been in the Boeing Gift Store that's located on Lindbergh Boulevard at McDonnell Boulevard? I've never been in the store since they're closed on Sundays and that's the only day I make it to STL. Therefore, I can't offer any advice or opinions about their merchandise.

I have been to the Boeing Gift store over 10 times. I have also bought about 5 models there. The problem is that the last time I went there, they stopped selling the models in airline liveries, and they only sell them in Boeing House colors. That is a pretty neat store! Any others?

Sorry, I'm not into that thing and can't offer any advice other than to grab a metro St. Louis yellow pages and call the hobby stores that are listed. If you ever go airplane watching at STL on the weekend, make a note of my e-mail address from the profile and maybe we can meet up sometime in the future. I generally go on Sunday's, but good weather days this year are dwindling down.

I don't know any stores at all since I never bought any...hehe
But, I know a website called www.airplaneshop.com that sells them, but they are a little too expensive compared to all the other competition. Then there is a great site of a world famous store in London, UK called www.collectorsaircraft.co.uk
And finally, Ebay has a lot them! Just type in the search "desktop model".
Also depends, which airline, but most sell 1/200 etc. scale models in their duty free on their flights...
