Heya guys,
I was wondering if there were any UK members out here who fancied joing my VA- Air Lambert. It will be launched on Sep. 1st 2004, uniforms and cabins are in the process of being designed and the livery is just below. The fleet will sart with two ex- British Airways Boeing 737-400's. The airline will be based out of LGW, these are the destinations served:
EDI
AMS
CDG
INN (Mostly Winter Season)
PMI
I am the Founder and Chairman and is the General Manager. I am requiring 3 Captains, 3 F/O's and other staff. Cabin crew is sorted and their uniform design is almost completed.
So far since Airline announced a few hours ago (even though weeks in progress) two A.net members have come forward for piloting jobs:
Declan (Shamrock_747)
Samuel (Planemad)
If you are interested in any job, then please mention and when released we will send you an applictation form,
Cheers
Sam

I'm looking forward to getting involved with the running of this VA. I think the major strong point is that it's starting on a small scale and realistically - having 10 hubs and 100 777s makes things a little hard to keep track of!

As you are coming to EDI I'd be interested.
Although for what it's worth, I'm not a member of Vatsim, and have no intention of becoming one. Hopefully that doesn't matter.
I look forward to watching Air Lambert progress and expand!

Good luck. I'm involved in the running of 2 VAs already (1 as management, 1 as a pilot) and a virtual flying club (as non-manager as part of our non-management ) which is eating all my spare time in between flight testing addons and giving customer support for Flight1 so I have to pass up.

NWADC9, Cabin Crew will record safety briefings and announcements, have their pictures taken etc. so that you can play their voices whilst in flight. But they are sorted, pretty much all 9!!!
Scottish Laddie, drop me an email some time and we'll discuss it further.
EclipseFlight7, that is not definately the reg yet anyways. I chose that simply because the other aircraft would be G-LAMB but they're just animals LOL!!!! So 99% chance they will NOT be the registarations of the aircraft. You'll soon get used to the name, there are much wierder, trust me!!!
Thjere was the possibilty of the airline being renamed Bubble, BUT I might save that one for a low cost subsidery if things go well!!! But to make this successful I have to concentrate on NOW and things are going to schedule. Cabin Crew uniforms are almost done now, I'll email all my staff the new uniforms and they will go on the website.
We also need a painter who can get this design onto a FS2002 and FS2004 aircraft as well as a web designer!!!
Cheers
Sam

If anyone wants to join up with me later and start are own VA that would be great. Would like to start off in MIA or FLL. So anyone that knows how to paint aircraft and make websites that would be great I would love to try to start a VA. Love it how you are starting small like that. I would like to Join but I do most of my flying in the US. Sounds like a great airline. Hope to make something like that of my own later.
