Airnav 3.1 "eu" Problem

Hi,
I recently bought Airnav 3.1 and it is really good apart from one problem...

Any flights over Europe and some over the US display as flight number "EUxxxx" when the actual flight is operated by BA or BMetc. I have tried various ways to get round the problem, but none of them work. Living in Europe I am very interested to see what planes are flying in my continent and at the moment i am limited in what I can work out. Does anybody else have any ideas/knowledge as to how to fix this annoying problem? Is there a patch available or something?

Does this program actually give you live info of all aircraft in the air over the net? If so, where (in the US) can I get this and how much does it cost?
