So I am currently flying short hops in a 734 around the world. Started out in OAK and currently flying Perm --> Tomsk route in Russia. Fired up my second system and decied to try out the Landing in Tomsk since none of the Russian Airport except for St. Pete's and Moscow so far have ILS. On Tomsk approach the runway is basically "below ground" with about 300-400 foot drop required to reach it. Imagine someone digging out a whole and then paving a runway inside it - so here it is...just a little challenge for those of you out there simming around. Check it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
PS: I am from the old days of simming and much prefer the keyboard controls to control the aircraft - so it is no surprise that it took me 3 times before landing successfully. (On my other system, which is a laptop, I diverted to Novosibirsk, at least their runways are above ground.)
