alright, after the great feedbacks I got on my last trip report, here I go for another one, presenting my brand new german airport scenery bundle  Smile

therefore, my route was NUE-STR-INN-MUC in a LH 737-400.

alright, engine startup at NUE today at about 1 PM:

taxiing to the runway

and climb out..

turning right, trying to get away from these clouds but they'll be with me almost all over my 3 flight legs...

lining up for the approach

but what the hell... the ATC cleared a Dash-8 for takeoff and seems like he took some time...

going aroung...

turn over stuttgart...

lining up again...

double check - no dash in sight  Smile

taxiing to the gate...

... where the interactive safegate system is already waiting for us  Smile

short break - no refuelling

clearing the next flight plan (STR-INN) and then, taxiing to the runway again:

climb out

and just a few moments later, we're at 13000 feet, bypassing the alps

since we'll have Runway 26, we need a turn right after bypassing munich

what a sight!

anyway, there's that beep beep beep again - we got the localizer for runway 26

and the runway in sight - my first approach to Runway 26 ever at INN

well, runway 26 has a heading of 260 degrees... the localizer has a heading of 255... no Kai-Tak but due to the wheather, the mountains and all that stuff, I'll better beware  Smile

turning right by 5°

and we've just landed... ok, not even close to the center line but on the other hand, I've hear so many missed approaches on ATC that day - I'm there so it's ok  Smile

the follow me guys showing me the way to go

and again, after a short break (little refueling this time), pushing back again for the last leg (INN-MUC):

waiting at runway 26 for two landing Dash's - both will declare a missed approach but in the meantime, it stopped raining so it was alright with me...

and for a last time, climbing out...

turning right...

leaving the Inn-Valley

and already descending (of course into the clouds again...)

and approaching MUC

where again, after taxiing to Terminal 2

a safegate is instructing us into the parking position

engines off, doors open, ben tired

that's it for today - hope you enjoyed the report again! next one will take some time but there will come one.

cheers,

ben

A bit low approaching STR, uh?  Big grin

But I can understand, crossing the Autobahn can be an interesting sight some days.

Nice pics!

Despite all the 777 and 747 and 340 and 330 I have in my sim, I mostly fly short hops, like STR-FKB-GVA-NCE and back or a USA round trip which I made in a lot of time with about 30 legs...
Cruising is boring...

But nothing is more fun, than landing a helicopter on top of the tower...lol

Did You guys ever try to get a 744 off Meigs and down again?

Oh, and I didn't mean to criticise, but as we are a forum, someone has to...lol

Was pleasure to watch Your pics and to follow Your trip report...

Nudelhirsch: I didn't take it as an offense so don't worry  Smile

I actually landed a 744 at Meigs but never tried to take-off...
