And Another Trip Report: BOS-EWR

well, after the "complaints" that it's too early to fly the 7E7, I decided to go for a 737.

My routing today: just a short hop from BOS to EWR in a Frontier aircraft.

remote parking at BOS:

taxiing to 33L

with a Southwest and an Air Canada plane in front of me

line up while the AC departs...

immediate T/O clearance and there we go for the 180 miles...

a bit cloudy...

hoping for the sky to clear up...

but no luck today Sad

bypassing Republic...

and JFK

turning in for runway 4R approach

of course bad weather again but I can see the runway, no rain so let's not bash the Wx too much Smile

clouds reached down till ground...

but we found our way

crossing 4L after a CO departed

reaching our concourse

and finally, our gate:

engines off!

next time, I'll fly over the rockies to check out my new VFR scenery for Colorado Smile

If I may suggest, there is a really nice Boston freeware scenery available by George Grimshaw. Since you have Simflyers EWR installed, I presume your computer can handle the freeware scenery.

That isn't Simflyers, thats another free addon found on avsim.

There's nothing wrong with flying the 737-200 in the default 734 panel. I do it (it saves on framerates) Smile

Don: ALT+Print Screen will capture it - after that, you can paste it into any graphics program.

Thanks for your response Ben. Tried ALT+Print Screen and nothing happens or does it capture it and store it somewhere in the background? Guess I was expecting a prompt that would ask where I wanted to save the image. Even turned the printer on just in case it attempted to actually print out.

sorry don, the image will be saved to the clipboard. you can paste it into any application after it (paint shop, photo shop, word or whatever is able to handle the image)
