I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find old route maps for any US airlines that were in service in the 80's and early 90's. Some airlines in mind are Pro Air, vanguard, Midway, and Midwest.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I've scanned a PanAm map from the 60's - not exactly what you are looking for, but still interesting.

click on "page 2" scroll down a little. there are quite a few route maps here, most are recent, and some links don't work. Hope this helps!

One thing all commercial airline enthusiasts should do is create an archive of seat-back magazines from each flight. Yeah, it takes a while for the nostalgia to set in, but as the years go by, it's great to look back through your old magazines. Thanks for the website KEno.

If anyone is in or going to be in the LA area, and would like to make arrangements, I have boxes and boxes and boxes of stuff like that from about 1991-2001 that I'll be more than glad to let you have.

Check with the World Airline Historical Society (WAHS) @ www.wahs.org. Lots of great information pertaining to a variety of airline related subjects.

Here's the deal. I am not about to sit here and type out every single thing I have. If you would like to arrange a time and place where we can get together and you can rummage through the boxes and pick out what you like, I'll do so. But I'm not going to compile a list of everything; it's too long. And I'm not going to look for a particular item and then mail it.
