Have just got FS2K4 and I am so far delighted with this purchase, the differences between FS2K2 and 2K4 are amazing, like being able to request a different runway from ATC, and the scenery is much better
Will upload some new screenshots to virtual pp.net as soon as I download some new a.c for FS2K4  Smile

I upgraded to FS2004 from FS2000 on the 3rd April and you notice the changes a lot more  Smile. It's well worth the money and some of the things you can do is incredible, it's also great to be able to land on water.

It goes without saying by the iFDG aircraft and POSKY aircraft are excellent but there is some good payware out there too. the PMDG 737NG's are superb - last night I flew FAO-MAN in a 737-800 and suffered a bird strike / eng fail below minimums - it's always keeping you alert.

The traffic you can download is excellent too, I think PAI is the best but that is just my opinion, it's good to be flying somewhere and hear real callsigns flying around.

Hope you have fun

Phil

Gkirk - Glad to hear that you are having fun. And is it just me or did you change countries (flag)?

Glad to hear you're enjoying FS9, Gkirk!

SUJ, no it's not just you, he changes his country every couple weeks. I think he keeps getting exiled from wherever he goes.  Wink/being sarcastic

Cheers.
ZKSUJ: Yes, I feel that some of the smaller countries should be represented on a.net so I change flag every so often  Wink/being sarcastic

Well done son!

Now you wanna get some AI aircraft downloaded and populate those virtual skies! Cant beat waiting in line at heathrow behind a QANTAS 747 and BA 777 while a Virgin 747 lands....

Now if only you could hear the AI aircraft better  Sad

That'll teach you

Was pretty funny earlier on though, was landing at MAN, on a flight from NCL in an AMM A320, was lined up to land on 24R at MAN when a B737-400 pulled up onto the runway, the ATC didnt tell me to go around, so just plonked down in front of the 734  Laugh out loud  Big thumbs up

Good stuff, I guess you were just following orders (or lack of). Did the ATC tell you to Go Around after touchdown?
