I was just wondering how to fly for an airline on flight simualtor? I currently have a FS2002 Proffesional Edition and will soon be getting a FS2004. I would like to fly for A.net Airlines but am not sure how. Is there some website I need to go to and do you have to download the aircraft. I'm not sure how and would appreciate lotsa help on that also.

West Express Airways has been open for over 1.5 years, and we are currently building a new website. You can visit our current site at http://home.online.no/~vidtun/WCA, where you will find plenty of aircraft downloads, schedules, and other information.

Flying for A.Net is free. Whether or not you need training depends upon what stage you are at, although it is probably unlikey. Speak to Phil Cribbin about it - his details are on the website.

It depends on yor hours flown. Experience would allow you to gain captaincy, but that is only a status.
You have to have checkrides performed as well according to the ops manual.

Hey guys I just signed up and am waiting for an e-mail. Was wondering whether there were schedules or whether you just fly whenever you get the chance?

Welcome to A.net airlines. What aircraft are you guys starting off on?
CX881- where abouts are you based? I notice that there is not HKG base at this point.
And 'FlyingKangaroo' I presume you are based at SYD.

We now have a HKG base as well as CLE, DEN, LAX and now PPT.
I've processed all the applications now so welcome aboard FlyingKangaroo and CX881.
The latest schedule is avaliable from the website, we have a newer one however it is not actually valid yet (awaiting aircraft) but can be viewed on the forums.
It does not cost a thing to fly for us (Well you need to buy Flight Sim......) and our aircraft are avaliable for download on our Website http://www.FlyingColours.tk. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me although I may be out of the office for a few days next week (A weeklong party!!!!) well from Tues-Fri.
Fly whenever you have the chance to, we have a very lax minimum hours rule (for now) so you don't have to fly a large number of hours for us every month. Just fly when you have the time, I know I do.
More importantly it is a hobby, so have fun.

Hey guys -
Just need the step by step process of downloading an aircraft. Always seems that something goes wrong when I try on my own. I want to download the B757 -200 in A.net airlines colors now that I'm a first officer for their airline.
Thanks for any help you can give. BTW - I have a FS2002. Might update soon to FS2004. But for now I need the directions from someone that is familiar with FS2202.

My name came up on the staff list but i looked at the schedules and can't find Hong Kong for my life. I'm looking at the mainline schedules only! Could it be a charter flight? My second choice as base was Heathrow. Would my staff # pop up next to the flight I'm supposed to make?

Hi there!
With the scheduling and stuff, I think you just e-mail Phil at least 2 days before the flight you want to fly, and then you'll get a response telling you if that flight is avaliable or not.

I'm a First Officer based in SYD. I've been really busy with school and stuff so I haven't done many flights, but I've got a long weekend coming up next week, so that will mean many flights! I'm flying the A330 (at least i hope i am).

I'm also busy with school. Goin to have to find time.
Is it possible to fly other routes beside somewhere to HKG or HkG to somewhere if you are based out of HKG. Say I want to fly SYD to LHR, and i'm based in HKG am I still able to fly that route? I really wanted to also fly the 757-200!

Yes you can fly from SYD if you want (We call it virtual deadheading). The HKG base will begin operations soon (Awaiting a few new aircraft). Also you can fly more than one type - I think we allow up to 4/5 similar types (eg the A319/20/21 & 330 or B752/753/767) but if you wan't to fly the 757 you can fly that as well as the A330 or B744.
We intend to be operating the PMDG 737-800 soon, it is simply a case of painting it.
