My AI aircraft always have ATC saying "you are 300 above your assigned altitude" is there a fix for this or a microsoft error? Thanks in advance
Jeremy

I dont think there is a fix for this, but it has been announced that there is an imminent FS2004 patch being released shortly so hopefully this problem has been fixed!!

Is it because they do not respond to changes in pressure and always assume the QNH is 1013mb/29.92 hPa? I have noticed it, but not all the time, and I wondered if it was deliberate to show that the AI are not always flown by "perfect pilots"!

I have that problem too, but it doesn't happen often enough to annoy me. I just live with it since I don't think there's anything that can be done about it.
N754AN, somehow I don't think that MS will address this issue in the patch, (since the problem may have to do with the add-on AI planes which are out of MS's domain) but you never know.
If you've still got the v4 or v5 .air files installed, you'll need to download the files here to update them and the "you are 300 above your assigned altitude" will not be heard again:

Thanks for that interesting info DC-10! I think I'll try that and see if it stops the problem, although I have noticed it with some default aircraft as well.

Ok, what about the PAI a/c parking inside the terminals at LHR?!?! It happens on the North side of the airport. Any ideas? Front end sticks in the terminal with the back end outside

Graham, thats an AFCAD problem, check the PAI AFCAD section for an updated AFCAD for LHR (and any other airports you are having problems with). That'll fix it. If you're using Heathrow Pro from UK2000, you can grab my modified AFCAD for it from http://www.simlivery.com/afcad.html

Cheers Peter.
All I need to figure out now is the MRAI thing, am gonna try upgrading the easyJet flight plans to the one's for Summer 2004. But I'll need to download an AI easyJet A319 yeah?

Ok, so I downloaded the MRAI installer and the easyJet package (already had the PAI EZY package which did not contain the A319s). So I've associated the B733 and B737 with the new package, which means that I'll be able to see the updated flights containing the 733 and 73G, but not any A319 flights, correct? I need to download an AI version of the EZY A319 and associate that, am I right?
GKirk, confused

EclipseFlight7 - I see what you mean, it is like the wind direction, once the AI aircraft are using certain runways any change in wind direction doesn't seem to affect the runway they use, particularly if it is a busy airport.
