I've looked everywhere for painters, and so far no one's interested, but maybe I'll find a painter here. I'm running a virtual airline, but we have a problem that plagues all new VAs: finding a painter. I have no painting software nor experience, so I can't do it, and was wondering if anyone here could.
I have a pretty basic idea of what I'd like, but if you'd like to improvise and create something as dazzling as Qantas' Nalanji Dreaming, then that's okay too.
If you are interested or have any better ideas for a livery, e-mail me or post a reply. Thank you for being interested enough in painting an aircraft to read this post!

I don't know beans about repainting, but I do know that NorthStar does! He painted a large percentage of PAI's planes, as well as a few for VA's including his own.

Hey OB1504,
I painted 3 aircraft for A.NET Airlines not so long ago, and I would be willing to help paint for your virtual airline!
I can't make any promises on how how long it will take, but if you would like to see examples of my work have a look at the B737-800, 747-400 and 757-200. I have improved further as a painter in the last few months and would be extremely willing to paint up your fleet of 747's!

THAT WAS YOU?!?!
I totally LOVE your work! I'd be honored to have you paint for my VA!
As far as a time, I'd just like it by the end of the year.

Ian has done some great work for A.NET Airlines, I myself have managed to trundle out the A321, ANN 737-200ADV and am now working on the CRJ-900 with a long list of other aircraft to finish.
If in the future get some free time from running the airline and painting the fleet I'll help out.
Good Luck with your VA

Where is your VA planning on flying to and from? And how many flight crew do you currently have?
We fly Boeing 747-200s and Boeing 747-300s on long-haul flights from our LIM base. I posted some more info about PDA in the following web pages:
You can see a list of cities and a route map, as well as schedules. Eventually, though, we're planning on getting some ex-American Trans Air 727-200s and using them for some domestic flights.
We currently have six pilots, including myself. Our newest pilot sent in his Pilot Application last night.
Thanks to all who have replied for showing interest in my new VA!

Hey OB1504,
I will start work on the 747's this week. I allready have an idea for the tail and had an extremely tough go at it, but will start possibly tommorow some time!My idea was: have the 2 red stripes like on the BA tail, then get rid of the blue stripe and have the crest which is in the middle of the Peruvian flag in the midle of the 2 red stripes? What do you think?
I saw the website, just managed to navigate to the Fleet page, so now I know which and how many 747's will be in the fleet!

Sounds great! Thank you for your work!
And I forgot to say that all painters will get any hours spent painting aircraft doubled and added as flight hours.

Ian@STN, would you mind doing an ERJ-135 in the future? (by February or March 2005)
Anyway, do you have any more screenshots of our aircraft?
