Hi everyone,
I hear all this chat about 'tweaking' FS2004 for optimum performance... how can this be done besides changing frame rate, resolution etc? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

The best shot you have at tweaking FS is to play around with the FS9.cfg file, but I warn you, this is potentially damaging. Make a backup of the FS9.cfg, then try to get the best settings you can get.
First of all, allow hidden files to be shown.
then, go to:
C:
Documents and Settings Your User Name
Application Data
Microsoft
FS9
fs9.cfg
EDIT The backslash won't show so I had to seperate the instructions.
If you want to improve performance another choice is to download Microsoft's 9.1 update - it is meant to really improve performance.
