I just reinstalled FS9 on my system. Before I had no problem, but now I have no cockpit view. I can see the runway and all the stuff outside but where the cockpit should be its just black.....anyone know why?

when you are in the cockpit view hold down the shift key and press the number 1. This can be used to hide the cockpit, also by pressing and holding the shift key and then pressing 2 - 6 it will bring up things like the radio stack, or GPS etc. nearly all the numbers from 1-9 have something attached to them. This does not work on the 10-key side, maybey if you turn off the number lock, otherwise just use the numbers over the keyboard. Let me know if the first part helps. -Dan
-oh and this can be used to have the cockpit gauges even if flying in the spot veiw.

I had a similar problem for a while. What graphics card do you have? My problem was that the (then) current graphics card driver was not supported by FS9, so it wouldnt show the cockpit. I installed a driver for a similar card with the same specs as mine, and it worked!

I guess that's what happens in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.
