It has been some time since I thought of asking this question to someone. Trivandrum International (VOTV) being the nearest airport to my home I usually flies in and out of Trivandrum whenever I get time. One thing I have noticed here is that VOR at the airport ‘TVM’ (Freq: 115.10) is situated in the middle of the runway a few thousand feet’s from the threshold of runway 32 in my FS2004 scenery. Can anybody confirm that the VOR is approximately in the middle of the runway? If yes how could Microsoft make such a mistake during the creation of FS2004 also what can be done to correct it? Thanx very much for your response in advance.

Sincerely,
George

I also noticed a house in the middle of 24R/06L at MAN but it is gone now. Not sure about your problem.

I’ll have a look, haven’t encountered that problem anywhere else. If it does remain a problem try opening the VOTV's AFCAD. I’m not sure if it will display the VORs at the airport but you could always shift the runway to one side  Smile – a bit amateurish but if all else fails…

I request you try going to VOTV to see if the problem is just for me or everywhere its the same. Well what you have said is correct. If there is no other solution then I may have to consider moving the runway a bit to avoid collision with the scenery. or else I have found a 27 mb update of FS9 from the Microsoft website. May be that might fix the problems.
