Hi
Im in the UK, (derrrrrr )
I have noticed that Airliner World magazine has put its prices up yet again!
I know its only 5 or 10p but its really getting annoying. They have started to put more ads in their mag aswell as wasting two pages on subscription adverts, they surely only need one page. I know they get money from ads but there is an increasing amount of them.

I am over here in the states and i must agree with the price you guys are talking about,my local bookstore carries it and i do like it from the "european perspective" it's a nice balance of civil and military aviation but the price is a killer sometimes. All in all good quality.

European - the most recent issue (with BLK, A318 mistake etc) was only about 85 pages long. I think you were referring to last month's issue. The price does seem a bit steep at times...

I know its justifying to discuss about the price increase of this mag.
but we have only one store at BOM that sells this magazine and they charge Rs 600 i.e [7 GBpounds] for it.
So if anyone should do the cribbing about a 10p price increase spare a thought about me for a moment.
Just for the record not that have ever eaten being a vegetarian but just for a price comparison a lobster dinner costs u under Rs 400 [4 GBpounds] in most places in Mumbai.
So would u still buy it if u were in my shoes

The cover price in pounds in 3.60. At the current exchange rate the regular price should be around 5.15 euros. Instead the price is 9.00 euros! That's 6.29 pounds! The price of the mag seems to increase every other month by a few cents.
At this rate it won't be long before it will be cheaper to go to London to buy one, then to go too AMS to buy one! Ryanair is only charging a few pounds from EIN to STN....

It costs about $10 USD here, which is outrageous for a monthly magazine especially when the others on topic are half that. Major book chains like Borders or Barnes & Noble (but mainly Borders) carry the magazine. I usually just sit in Borders and read it for a half hour rather than purchasing it.

I always find typos in Airliner World. It makes me laugh, especially when one single mistake makes the sentence sound completely irrelavant or senseless.

Yes I agree here in the States the price has gone up alot in the past couple of years. Most of my buddies (most are in the aviation industry as well here in the US and Canada) have stopped buying it due to pricing. When I use to buy it the person at the counter always said wow this is expensive for a Mag and I said can I get your discount.
