I recently purchased the Air Austral dvd due to the B777 being featured,
but was very disappointed with it. Did anyone else purchase this dvd
and what are your thoughts on it...?

I just ordered it, why were you disappointed with it? Is this your first WAR DVD?

I am big B777 fan, thats why I brought it. I thought the B777 portion
could have been better. I guess because it was a night flight, not much
scenery and very dark in the cockpit. I hope there are more B777 videos
on the horizon

I too have this DVD and as you can tell by my name online here I am a fan of the great B777. Just wondering if you have United and Air Europe from JP as they do a more thorough coverage of the B777. If you have extensive coverage of the same type aircraft on every DVD release then it soon becomes redundant. I for one like the fact that this DVD included the B737-500 and had a broader coverage of some of their island flights. So having said this I would highly recommend Air Austral.

I can recommend the UA 777 DVD then.

High quality; concise and usefull technical infos. The captain on this flight is a very smart teacher ! Plus it features ORD & LHR !!!
