Apart from the "some of the best aircraft", I'd agree with your statement. However, if one wants the best performance as well, you have to go with the likes of *takes deep breath*: MRAI, AI Aaardvark, FSPainter, Charles Dayhuff, Dee Waldron, Henry Tomkiewicz, Fernando Martinez & Tsumomuto Urakawa. A quick example would be the v2 of the PAI B767's which have over twice as many poly's as the AIA B767. At major hubs, that's a pretty big difference.
Besides, if you use the MRAI installer, it's pretty much just as easy - plus you still have a great deal of control over the installation process.
