Just an idea but wouldent it be awesome is airliners.net hosted a monthy screenshot competition for X-plane/Fs2002/Fs2004... If you think its a good idea post your comment . Oh and maybe for the screenshot winner Airliners.net can give away some small prizes...?

We could, but we have to probably have different competitions for each version. X-Plane looks different from FS2004, and FS1998 looks different than FS2002.

I'd recommend downloading FS Berlin's "Screenshot Manager". Run it, minimize it, press "PrtScn" (times however screenshots you plan to take), go back, and all your screenshots are there!

Well alright I somehow need to get a hold of one of the admins to see if they like the idea? Maybe I can be the host or something and we can have different sponsers from payware companies?

I think in general it is an interesting and good idea. Firstly, I don't think that the crew would get involved here. We could keep it unofficial, and just have a thread where everybody votes. We could make one person in charge who posts each month all of the entries which are emailed to him. Secondly, I agree that we don't need a prize, but rather do it for pride.

AIRLINERS.NET CREW CHAT OPERATOR
fellas, might i just recommend you look at other places...
Airliners.net is NOT a Flight Simulation site, and several other sites DO run monthly FS screenshot contests. I personally run the one for ProjectAI, and i can tell you its not as easy as it sounds. Just getting prizes is a chore and people ALWAYS bitch and moan about not winning.
