I purchased FS9 earlier today. I've been on it for an hour or two. I have discovered, much to my annoyance, that the yellow taxiway lines, as in FS2002, aren't there. In addition, the cruising level stated in IFR clearance is different to the cruising level I select in the flight plan. How can I remedy these problems?

Hey, Firstly, to get the yellow taxi lines you need to change the setting in the display option,

Start flight sim, settings, display, and crank them up somewhat more than half way (not sure exactly what ones and how much as I havent played them for a while)

Secondly, The IFR altititude clearences you receive, will be to different flight levels, somewhat like in real life, If you've requested FL 410, you'll be cleared to, FL5, FL120, FL 160 and so on till FL410.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your replies - I've got all that working fine now.

When I search for some major airports in the USA, like KBWI, KMIA and KJFK, I don't get any result - not even when I type in the city, the airport code, or scroll down the list when in the 'airports in XYZ' state. How can I find them?
