Hi all,

I thought I would take the time out to do my first FS2004 trip report with pictures.... Hope you like!

Date: Thursday 20 January 2005
Airlines: United Airlines

From: London Heathrow (EGLL / LHR)

Distance: 4648nm
Aircraft: Boeing 777-222
Registration: N777UA (Old Colours)
Scheduled Departure Time: 09:50

Weather: Low Cloud (3,200 ft), Light rain.
Wind: South-Westerly 238 / 12

09:18 GMT... Another view with other heavies parked by, and a LH A300 departing 27L.


09:23 GMT... Aerial view from the Tower of Terminal 3. Can you see me??!!


09:53 GMT... Engines powered up.

09:56 GMT... Pushed back from gate and flaps down 10.


10:01 GMT... Instructed to taxi to 27R for departure.. taxiing commenced.




10:20 GMT... Still in the queue for take off, but shouldn't be long now..!


10:25 GMT... Lined up on 27R and ready to go.


10:26 GMT... Airborne.


10:27 GMT... Making a right turn with Heathrow in the background.


10:59 GMT... Levelled out at 30,000 feet, near Northern Ireland.

I flew that route once in 2003 but I took VS. Your SFO really does bare a striking resemblance to the one in real life. You gotta get yo ass over there one day for real!

The water effects are downloaded from AVSIM.

Go to www.avsim.net and run a search in the file library for 'Calm Water Textures', and it should find it for you straight away.
