I was at an arcade in Monterey (Cannery Row) last night and saw a flight simulator video game. It was an JAL 777, which you would score points for successful landings. It looked really cool, but unfortunately this one couldn't take any money (it was busted) and I couldn't play it. I'm wondering if anyone knows where else I can find that game, preferably in the SF Bay Area.

There is also another arcade game called "Landing High Japan" by TAITO. It's a game where you take off and land ANA aircraft in Japan.. I think there is one in the LA Area?

There's one here in Maryland at Jillian's in the Arundel Mills Mall, I forget what it's called. You just have to land a generic airline's generic plane at a generic airport. Boring

I have played the exact game you are talking about! I was bringing my little brother to a birthday party at the Funplex in East Hanover, NJ, and I was shocked to see that game sitting there. I had never seen it before, and it was very fun, although the way the timer worked got me frustrated. Pretty fun game, hope you find one nearby!

IIRC, there's 2 JAL sim games in Las Vegas. One is at the arcade at the MGM Grand's studiowalk. Another is at the Luxor's arcade on the attractions level.

I have also played the JAL flight sim. It was funny because I was in BOI airport getting ready to take a flight home to California.

I know for sure that there's one at the Coney Island arcade at the Larcomar shopping center in Lima, Peru. The graphics and realism reminded me of the pre-FS98 days, but it was still loads of fun!

I had played the ANA game in Ithaca until they removed it from Pyramid Mall. I guess not many people interested in airliner sims in this area.

Wow what an old thread, I was just going to chime in and give my two cents on there being one in LGW but it looks like I already did that four years ago!

Last time I played it was in 2001 in some Arcade in Shizuoka, Japan. but I was impressed by the graphics yet I had FS98 and FS2000, it looked a bit better than FS98 and reminded me more of a real airline sim, and was smooth. It had a motion seat too
