How can I get my computer to load up fs9 much faster?

1 gb ram, p4 Dell.

also, how can I enable fs9 to run without that 4th disc?

You can get a patch for Disc 4 so you no longer need it to start up, and its much quicker at starting fs9 in my experience...

and go to the FAQ section and scroll down the page to the "Flight Simulator 2004 Sim Updates" section, and there you have 2 downloads, one of which is for those who have the fs9 patch which was released a few months ago, and one for those who haven't!
