I think that the dirt and the engine smoke are not suitable for a desktop model. It may look better on an airport diorama. And it is a mistake when you choose to make effects like that not to paint the model with mat colors!!!

What brand is this model? (e.g. Hasegawa, Trumpet, etc).

It`s the Eastern Express modelkit or the former Tupolev kit, made by Tupolev in 1998. Easy to get on eBay but very hard work. The parts don`t fit that well, but as pictured above, you can do a nice model. If you like an undercarriage, there isn`t one included with the kit, use the on of the Airfix 1/300 scale B777-200.
