Stefano: That's the flight I'm currently working. I just pushed up my departure time, and made it BA153, so I could get a nice afternoon/sunset approach... I'll post mine up soon.

my last attempt, I am about to give up.  banghead

I have these really pretty screenshots and they turn out into something dingy, small and unsharp images. What am I doing wrong? Please advice!!!!!

After taking off from Seattle, in a SDG DC-9 (not my normal Flight1) I had some really pretty sun set. (at least they were...)

Dreamer,

Currently I am a little drunk but nonetheless will try to advise. You are probably already saving your screenshots as JPG and not BMP. Now just rezise them to be around 650 pixels and they will be better.

Still, even though all the editing I do to my pics is just changing the format and renaming them, they still look sooo much better when I fly than when I post the pics.

Yeah I should've thought of that. This is the first time I've ever been in Egypt (both in FS and real life). I'm looking forward to your shots, try to get some with the pyramids!

BTW, I remember seeing this in a post a few months ago, but does anybody know the utility to make a certain flight dissapear temporarily, ie. I don't want there to be another BA155 LHR-CAI while I do the same flight at the same time.

Right now I'm starting CAI-FRA on LH589 which came in from KRT (Kartoum, Sudan) just a few hours ago, but I don't know if I should continue since I am a little bit inebriated... Big grin

At the gate. Just arrived from KRT as LH 588

Taxiing to the active

More soon...

I am really having a hard time with the picture part, as you might have noticed they all come out different everytime (????)

I am running my monitor at 1900x1260, it's a widescreen, so my proportions are a bit off. So I paste my screenshot into Photoshop, and then I try to resize, but haven't found a way to set the correct 600x550. Then again I don't really know how to use photoshop. I got other photo editing programs also. Just give me a step by step so I can show of how beautiful my flights really are. As you say, they look best during flight, still your posts look very nice!  praise

No he didnt taxi with his nose up, its at 5 degrees which is the standard angle it should be at from the beginning of the taxi to FL150 (15000ft) then it should be raised completly. It should then be lowered to once again 5 degrees once below FL150 and then brought down to full when 25miles from landing at you destination or below 5000ft.

Thanks Dave Big grin

Dreamer,

I did pass out just after 3am... then woke up at 5am and could not get back to sleep! I had the worst sleep last night.

Ok this is what you can do. Since you are on 1900x1260 you want to go down to around 650x500 (I use 646x484). So open up the file in Paint, not photoshop, and then hit Ctrl+W to skew them. In the percentage boxes enter 34% for the width and 38% for the length (since you're on widescreen). They should be rezised to something around 646x484. Let me know who it works!

Stefano

Seems like you have the same problem as I do (not the resolution part, but resize part), read Stefanos post above yours and try what he describes .

Stefano, Hope you are feeling well. THANKS!! I will have to work on it, but now I got the idea. Below is an attempt.

I spent my morning and morning codffee doing water landings, lots of fun!

Dreamer,

Your last post looks excellent! Very sharp too! Now just try increasing the percentage when you skew them and it will come a bit bigger, just keep it under 650pixels and it'll be perfect.

I got the 747-400 base from Project Opensky and I have collected many liveries from different places, mostly projectopensky.com and avsim.com. I think the Wunula Dreaming was got from avsim as well as the Singaore "Tropical Megatop". The panel was from avsim too.
