I'll start off with some competition winner's I've had in the past and also include some of the latest from my last 2 flights with Emirates.

THESE SCREENS CAN ALL BE ENLARGED! I suggest you do so for some as the detail will be much better!!

A better view of the same aircraft for you all to get a good look! Reassuringly green!!

Avon Sun is the holiday subsidiary of Avonair. Both operate from Bristol Lulsgate (BRS/EGGD), my home airport.

Avonair has a fleet of 6 Bombardier CRJ-200ERs that operate from Bristol to Major European destinations:

Frankfurt, Paris, Stuttgart, Rome, Milan (Linate), Tallinn, Stockholm (Arlanda), Brussels, Amsterdam and Nice.

Here's an Avonair CRJ

Avon Sun operate to Major Holiday destinations in Europe with a fleet of 2 MD-87s and one 737-500. The 737 is used to locations like Skiathos Island who's runway is too short for an MD-87.

Now, on to my latest stuff!

Hey!

Great Screenshots!...Where did you get the Saab 340, DC-9-30? I've been searching for models of those planes for a LONG time.

The DC-9-30 is SGA, which is all on Flightsim. That "Saab 340" is operated by Era, which don't have Saab 340's. That's a CV-580.

The DC-9-30 is on Avsim, the paint kit is on Flightsim.

Fo9r a Saab 340 go to www.pmstone.com, search civil turboprops, there's a great model with liveries and paint kit included.

In the second pic of the DXB-JFK flight, there appears to be an Austrian 767-200, am I right? Just wondering...

Hi Amy,

Fantastic pictures! Love the DXB scenery... where can I get that from? My DXB is crappy default, although given a lil bit of help from aeu7.

I love the EKA340 climbing out of DXB (12R I believe?!) looks so powerful.

Keep them coming

Chris

The DXB scenery is the payware product from flytampa. There is a freeware Dubai scenery on Avsim but it's a real framerate killer and nowhere near as good.

Yes, It's an Austrian 767-200. What it's doing there I have no idea, That's Project AI's problem, not mine!

Thanks for the great feedback, yes I think that was 12R, I don't actually remember! They just tell me where to go and I go... lol

Here's the rest of the flight:

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/201/7descent.jpg

On descent over Manhatten. If i do say so myself an awesome shot, I'm really proud of this one!

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/201/8final.jpg

On final to JFK... 13L? with Manhatten in the background.

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/201/9landing.jpg

This A340-500 model loses some manouverability at low speeds, hence the less than perfect landing....

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/201/10endgate.jpg

ATC tried to send me to Terminal 3 but I wasn't having any of that! Here we are at T4 with the engines powered down, just about to get the gate extended and let the pax off  Smile

A gret fun but long flight! Next is VS 004 JFK - LHR with the daddy, the 747-400. That'll be tomorrow hopefully!

True, but the main reason is that FS ATC don't know jack sh*t. Emirates goes from LHR T4 at JFK and gawd lang it that's where I'm gonna go!

I think if you look really carefully you can See Joey and Chandler's place in that Manhatten shot!  spin

EK goes from T3 at LHR.

I wasn't aware EK flew to JFK?!? I must have been asleep longer that I thought!

I meant by that that as Emirates go from Terminal 4 at JFK, then I shall arrive and depart from Terminal 4 when I am at JFK and flying Emirates, despite ATC's attempts to make me go other places. I don't blame ATC, it's only as good as the person who programmed it!

As for Emirates to JFK:

EK 201

DXB - JFK with A340-500

Depart 0800 (local) Arrive 1410 (local)

I arrived at 13:37, 33 minutes early. Rock!

Ok!

As predicted, Virgin Atlantic 004, JFK - LHR.

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/4/1startgate.jpg

Just started her taxi to the runway.

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/4/3taxi2.jpg

Holding short with a nice view of Manhatten behind. This must be 13R?

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/4/4rotate.jpg

The 747 always looks fantastic on rotation, this is no exception!

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/4/5climb.jpg

Passangers are reminded that this is a no smoking flight.... as is the aircraft!

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/4/6climb2.jpg

Early climb out of NY. Nice colours

http://www.greycube.com/hosted/ariel/thread/4/7climb3.jpg

Leaving JFK behind with a nice trail behind her. I think she's due for a service! Any ideas as to why all the smoke?

Edit: right now cruising at Mach .80 at FL350 over Northeast Canada.

Maybe you pressed the "I" button. That emits very non-realistic smoke on the POSKY 747's. - As it is emitted it looks like steam train smoke that goes chug chug chug!!!

Awesome shots as usual Amy!

I see your charter airline resembles kulula.com  wink

How is the DUS scenery on framerates?

Stefano

25 Amy : It's very good on framerates, part of German Airports which is a great package!
26 Post contains links Mir : If you're into realism, next time you come into JFK and ATC tries to give you the ILS to 13L, don't take it - it never happens. Instead, take the VOR
27 Amy : Yeah, I know, but it presents god screenshot opportunties... lol
