Hey I have always wanted to ask this but I would always forget. How do you play fs online? I started the process a few months ago but it was too confusing and I just gave it up. I have always wanted to fly with others online but I just couldn't understand the process of online flying. Now that I have better graphics and internet I want to try it again. Any comments.

You can either fly with a friend and host a room in the multiplayer section in the flight sim by telling him your ip address and he search for your game, or else you can just go to zone.com and join a room that you wana select and it joins it and starts up the game without you having to mess with it at all. I hope this helps you out! http://zone.msn.com/en/root/cdrom.htm this is the link to the multiplayer cdrom games which fs2004 is listed under, as well as 2002.

Try flying on http://www.vatsim.net , it will be the most realistic FS experience. Fly online with voice speaking to ATC and other aircraft talking around you. All you have to do is buy a small headset with a mic and you're set!
Its a great program , and once you get the hang of it (A bit complicated to install) its a blast.

They're is ONLY ONE bit of software now needed for connecting to VATSIM.. Now that SB3 (Squawkbox 3) has been released, you simply download and install. You dont even need a registered copy of FSUIPC for it anymore - it comes with it
With SB3 you actually see the traffic moving smoothly, unlike SB2 where it was all jumpy. You can watch how good someones landing is!
